You might not all know Gerald the Giraffe but he’s one of Orlagh’s favourite book characters, along with the chimps who love to cha cha cha! So they took pride of place on her christening cake for today’s celebration. Giles Andreae’s wonderful book Giraffes can’t Dance.
A new character for me this week, my first Timmy Time cake, complete with Timmy the Lamb – made for Olivia’s first birthday, complete with co-ordinating dairy free cupcakes spelling out her name. Happy birthday Olivia, hope you have a fantastic birthday celebration with all your family and friends!
For Ava’s 2nd birthday yesterday, a mini Minnie Mouse and birthday cake. For two year old Minnie there is even her own birthday cake and balloon…
A joint celebration cake for brother and sister Myles & Lily’s birthday party today! With all their favourite themes in great colourful icing. The two tiers allowed for a “Cars” racing track to come around the outside.
A Minnie Mouse cake for Holly, to celebrate her second birthday this week. I love the bright red icing on this cake topped off with the white polka dots. Minnie’s face is hand cut from layers of icing and the 3D bow just finishes everything off nicely. Set featured image
Elizabeth’s Frozen birthday cake for her party tomorrow. Happy 6th birthday!
Olaf and Sven are about to make an appearance at Shire’s 5th birthday party – my first Frozen cake! It must be the biggest hit film for girls in 2013-14 and I really enjoyed putting together these adorable iced characters on their way up the North Mountain to find Elsa in her hideaway.
It always brings a smile to my face seeing one of these on it’s way to a birthday celebration! … And the sun came out this afternoon for Joshua’s party too so I bet he was one happy boy (and his Mum too!) – Happy birthday Josh! x
For Oscar, all ready for his birthday tomorrow. First birthday cake with animal cake toppers: a lion, elephant and monkey.
