Twins Sebastian and Leonard celebrated their first birthday with a party today, their cake design was based on the animal print party-ware being used with a zebra for each of them on top - so cute! Happy birthday boys ! x
A little late but here are a few of last week's celebration cakes...
Something a little bit different to round off a busy week, today's wedding cake delivered to Bannatynes Hotel had a Steampunk theme!
The Storm Trooper topper was supplied by the bride & groom, all the other details were hand cut and painted in metallic shades of copper, bronze, golds and silvers to complement the theme of the day - looking forward to seeing some fabulous photos of the lovely couple cutting it GASP Photography!
Today's christening cake for India Faith, 3 tiers of vanilla sponge with rose petal detail and pearlised piped swags - absolutely beautiful!
Who doesn't love Minnie Mouse?
A similar design to the Mickey Mouse cake, Mia's first birthday party cake was great fun to put together. This Minnie Mouse cake was sculpted sponge as the base, covered in pink icing and then Minnie's face was cut from stencils and built up in layers. The icing on the cake' has to be the pink polka dot bow though!
Maya's parents were looking for a fashionable Cath Kidston inspiration for her Christening cake but still wanted to keep the idea of a children's theme. Maya's name is spelled out on toy blocks made of icing and trimmed in pastel colours that match into the blue and pink floral theme of the ribbon.
With piped icing swirls and pink butterflies, Sophia's Christening cake also has her baptism name on edible toy building blocks going around the base of the two tier cake. The tiers can be made of a choice of flavours: vanilla sponge, chocolate mud cake , carrot cake or fruit cake - even the traditional top tier of the wedding cake.
