Lego Princess Leia party cake

When I’ve been asked  for Lego figure cake designs before they have normally been for boys parties like Indiana Jones or the classic Lego-man.

So the other day, it made a nice change when I was asked to come up with something a little different in the form of Lego’s Star Wars heroine Princess Leia for Hannah’s 6th birthday.

The cake is made from a carved sponge cakes and then decorated with icing before finally adding the features and the defining hairstyle.

Bodie and Doyle.. The Professionals

It’s not an unusual request to be asked to come up with a design that features someone’s favourite fictional characters.  In this case it was the iconic 1970′s hit t.v. show “The Professionals”.
Featuring the CI5 Flying Squad’s Bodie and Doyle, the cake was delivered to a local business in Newton Aycliffe as a birthday surprise.
