It’s always nice to be asked to do something slightly different, and this two tier wedding cake in a subtle shade of blue with delicate white and yellow centred daisies turned out to be a perfect combination! Rebecca and Dan, the bride and groom, were modelled in replica’s of their wedding outfit’s with their beloved cats on either side of them.

Instead of traditional fruit or sponge cakes they opted for a tier each of carrot cake with lemon butter icing and chocolate mud cake with vanilla butter icing, delicious! The cake was delivered to The Blackwell Grange Hotel in Darlington early on the morning of their wedding.

Bear and Bunny Christening cake

Often Christening cakes ideas are in colours for either a girl or a boy and so mixing pink and white on a single cake is less common I suppose. This design worked well.

Megan and Bobby’s cake design has a girl bunny rabbit next to some toadstools for Megan and there’s a boy teddy bear with a blue toy train made of icing for Bobby.  Each has their name on the tiers.

Some of the other designs are on my main website’s Christening cake page but they don’t get updated as often as I want.
